About Our School

I began this school with the intention of creating a forum in which students from various Martial Arts backgrounds and experience levels could come to train and share their insights and experiences. This was to be unlike any school I had experienced in Wisconsin, and was based largely on the influences of the Inosanto Academy and the Minnesota Kali Group.

This school is based on the belief that information should be openly shared and preserved for future generations. It is my hope that this venture has contributed in some small way to the continuation of knowledge, training methods and experiences unique to the Martial Arts. We are continually expanding our curriculum to include rare and insightful areas of training.

We recognize that the average student will train for two to three years before other obligations became more important. My goal for students who spend this time training with us is for them to have developed a well-rounded base of martial skills and an open-minded conceptual understanding of the nature of training and physical confrontation. This will allow them to train at an intermediate to advanced level in any Martial Art discipline, and handle most street-level encounters safely.

Presently we offer training in all areas of Martial Arts, including Striking, Grappling, Trapping and Manipulation, and Weapons. We also train students for Flexibility, Strength and Conditioning, Weight Management and Performance Conditioning. We have classes for kids and adults, for the serious, hardcore Martial Artist, and for the recreational enthusiast. All of our classes are co-ed and we have maintained an equal division of male and female students.

On a regular basis, we have brought in guest instructors, attended local seminars, cross-trained with student groups from other schools, and competitors in various formats. Students who are interested are also given the opportunity to attend and participate in various competitive events, seminars and workshops.
