Two Skills Class
Meets: Mon. 8 - 9 PM

Overview
The
purpose of this class is to focus on the skills and experiences
that are necessary for the development of a functional and competent
Martial Artist.
In
this class, students who have a grasp of the Phase One Curriculum
will engage in drills and training methods designed to develop their
tactile and kinesthetic awareness, sensitivity to pressure, resistance
and range, while learning to adapt to changes in structure and distance.
 Students
will practice training methods from the Jun Fan Martial Arts, the
Filipino Martial Arts and other related Arts which focus on these
areas of development. A good deal of time will be spent training
repetition in the Trapping aspects of Jeet Kune Do, Panantukan and
Silat.
Students
will learn Chi Sao, Lin Sil Die Da Methods, Hubad Progressions,
Defensive, Offensive and Counter-offensive Trapping Methods and
other drills that will develop ambidexterity and proper body mechanics,
as well as a functional ability to effectively transition between
all ranges of confrontation. Visitors to our website are welcome
