Anthony,
this is a brief thank you for coming to work with my students at
Rufus King International Baccalaureate High School. I had asked
you to come in to teach some basic Martial Arts and Yoga, to help
my IB Theatre students understand the work of theatre practitoner
Jerzy Grotowski. I must say that my students and I were impressed.
You
worked with me to determine how your skills would work with the
skills that I wanted my students to develop, then worked with the
students in a safe, sane, and fun manner over the three days and
helped relate everything back to Grotowski. You were challenging,
supportive, and were informative. My students were evenly split
between enjoying the Yoga and the Martial Arts, but all asked if
we could invite you back. The students learned, they enjoyed, and
I am encouraging many of them to take classes and learn more. Thank
you for sharing your skills and for helping to develop a love of
learning in my students.

This
past weekend was a nice boost for my group. Being invited to share
Kuntaw with so many interested people was heart warming. Mr. Anthony
Sell was a cordial host and made it all come together. A special
thanks to Regi Bron for making that home cooked Filipino dinner.
I hope that this is a start of a good working relationship with
your school. I don't think I have met so many people under one roof
that were so welcoming and genuine in a while. It made the trip
more than worthwhile for us. (Brian Soloman is recouperating from
all the abuse I gave him - poor guy)

I went to your Sage Arts Academy for the first
time last Tuesday, for Capoeira with Harrison & company. It
was a great experience. Thanks for
setting up such a great place.
Thanks
for the materials and the t-shirt! Im really impressed
with the work you did on that instructors manual. I really
think you should try to adapt it and publish it. I buy just about
every book on teaching and the business of martial arts and I think
your manual is just as valuable as anything I have seen.
Dear
Anthony, I wanted to take a quick moment to tell you what a great
job you've done with your organization of martial arts information.
My staff and I have read your site a few times and have gone through
all of your documented materials. We truly enjoy both your systemized
approach to teaching as well as your writing style in general. I
applaud your effort for organizing that which is usually dis-organized.
Coming
from a JKD background, I am always impressed when someone can take
the "non-classical mess" and make it logical like you
have! Congratulations. Your students are very lucky to have a guide
like you. Keep up the great work!
Respectfully,
- Jason M. Silverman, EEMA Fitness & Martial Arts President www.eemaworld.com

Selamat
Tony, I appreciated your attendance last week at the Alive &
Kickin' School! It was a real pleasure to work with you guys
and exciting to see you notice the structure of Combat Silat / Pencak
Silat Pertempuran!!! To me that's where this system shines. I hope
you enjoyed it and maybe even learned one more thing. The next time
we meet we can get deeper into the system and hopefully expand the
experience for you guys. I look forward to working with your group.

Hello
Anthony, I'm a Research Fellow working on a new book by Stacy DeBroff
(The Mom Book ,2002) for Simon & Schuster that will provide
an in-depth, insider's guide for parents contemplating which specific
activities in which to get their children involved. One of the key
elements of the book is quotes from teachers and coaches, as well
as parents, about their experience with specific sports or activities.
We found your email via the Internet, and selected you as one of
the people we hope to include quotes from in the book. We have included
few of key
questions we would love to hear your insights about below.
